Adult Ministries

Thanks for stopping by the Adult Ministries page.

Adult Ministries desires to be a part of adults of all ages becoming more like Christ and living for Him.

Here are some things you can be involved in at ZEFC.

Adult Sunday Classes

On Sundays we will be offering a variety of opportunities to help you grow in your walk with Jesus and in fellowship with others.  Classes for all that include Bible teaching, basic doctrine and more.

The Invisible Hand - The Sovereignty of God.  This class will explore God and His presence in our lives and in everything!

Understanding the Anger and Justice of God.  This class, which will study a few of the minor prophets, will explore this part of God's character that is very much a part of who He is, but is oftern not discussed.

The Peacemaker.  This class is based on the book by the same name by Ken Sande.  Come for discussion and study and learn what the Bible has to say about peace and being a peacemaker.

Women's Prayer in the Prayer Room is offered weekly during the Sunday School time.  Come for this special time only for women for prayer and encouragement.

Other classes will be offered on a topical basis.

Small Groups

Small Groups are groups of people who regularly meet together for encouragement, fellowship, Bible Study and fun.

Our desire at ZEFC is to see people invested in these small groups to create meaningful relationships that will build one another in their faith and be their in times of need in one another's lives.

What do these groups look like?

Small Groups - The typical group, often gathering for Bible study, prayer and fellowship are people committed to a long term habit of meeting together.

Men's Prayer - A small group of men who meet at the church Saturday's at 6:30 for prayer and fellowship - of course more are welcome!

Moms in Touch - Mothers of school age kids who meet to pray for the needs of their children and the schools they attend.  Contact the office for a schedule of dates and times.

JASPER - Groups of three to four men or women who gather specifically to encourage one another in intimate fellowship.

Coming Soon! - Congregations

Congregations are mid-size groups of 18 - 35 people that meet together for a meal, worship, study, ministry time and prayer.  These groups will be a great place to get connected as they are always open to new-comers. 

Mother's of Pre-schoolers meets to encourage moms who are in this particular stage of life.  Meetings are held regularly during the school year.

Men's & Women's Ministries

Men's and Women's Ministries exist to help men and women develop according to God's plan for them.

Throughout the year events and opportunities are scheduled (or happen spontaneously!) for spiritual growth, fellowship and fun.

Women's Prayer time

Weekly prayer time on Friday mornings at 8 a.m. at ZEFC.  Come fr prayer and encouragement with other women.
